Dynamic Finite Element Based Animation of Tree Swing in the Wind

摘要: 建立了阔叶树在风中的摇曳的有限元模型.考虑了风场与和树之间流固耦合效应,探讨了由平均风压和旋涡脱落引起的2种不同的振动模式,提出一种加速有限元求解的虚拟材料法.通过该模型可以模拟不同风力等级下树的晃动,树的晃动程度与风力等级表中的相符;并通过模拟结果数据库,可生成树在风中摇曳的动画.Abstract: Finite element model of a broadleaf-tree swaying in the wind is established in the paper.Effects of fluid-structure interaction between wind and the tree are studied by discussion of the two vibration modes:the average wind pressure mode and the vortex induced vibration mode.A method called “virtual material method” is proposed to accelerate the finite element simulation.The swaying of a tree under different wind scale can be simulated and the resultant motion is in accordance with the wind scale table.Animations of trees swaying in the wind can be generated through the simulation resultant database.
