Abstract: An adaptive triangular mesh refinement approach is presented based on traditional mapping approach.It can effectively handle arbitrary surface with given constraint conditions. The algorithm improves efficiency through handling loops together and taking a simple approach to estimate the curvature of surface.Further optimization guarantees the high quality of meshes without destroying the exterior appearance of original surface.
