基于纹理延伸和三角块拼接的快速曲面纹理合成

Fast Texture Synthesis on Arbitrary Surfaces Using Texture Extension and Triangular Texture Matching

  • 摘要: 对相邻的已合成三角形个数为1的待合成三角形使用"纹理延伸"的方法进行纹理合成;对相邻的已合成三角形个数大于1的待合成三角形采用梯形模板匹配的三角块拼接方法进行纹理合成.实验结果与理论分析表明,该算法合成质量较高,合成速度较现有方法提高了1/3.

     

    Abstract: We present a fast algorithm of texture synthesis on arbitrary surface using “texture extension” and optimal texture coordinates searching.As to those triangles where there is only 1neighbor triangle synthesized,we get their texture coordinates by directly extending the neighbor triangles’texture coordinates, while those triangles with 2 or 3 synthesized neighbors are synthesized by searching their texture coordinates according to their trapezi form borders.Some experimental results are presented which show that synthesis time of our algorithm is about 2/3of that of previous methods.
